I install this laser module on my DIY CNC Router. I switch Laser ON/OFF using Spindle relay output. Best results were achieved with feed speeds from 3 to 5mm per second. This laser easily cut paper (80gram), Tejin Fabric (usually used on Paraglider/Parafoil/Kite canopies), and I carve medium grade Balsa, and White Poplar Plywood. I mount laser module into the aluminum square tube 40x40mm and install a mini fan, 12 V 40mm square fan from an old graphic card) to achieve efficient cooling.
